Hi all,
It’s come to my attention that many people don’t know where to start to go down a path like I am. They see an end goal and get overwhelmed with how many steps it will take. They don’t know how they’ll get to step 20 when they haven’t taken step 1 yet.
I want to offer a kind of guide, if possible.
First things first. Define your goal.
For example mine is losing a total of 181lbs. That sounds exhausting and overwhelming. So, what I will do is spread that into mini goals. Those are easier to deal with. My first is get to 300lbs ( which was a total of 36lbs. to lose).

That is so much easier to grasp than 181.
After you’ve defined your goal, find what the first step needs to be. For mine, I knew my step was starting to track my calories again. This is the biggest thing for me. If I track, I will lose.
What is your first needed step? Find out and start on it.
For example want to write a book? Make a synopsis to give you a guideline of what happens in your book.
That’s it. One step. Once you feel secure in that step being done or at least working well, move on to step 2.
For weight loss, my step 2 was adding in exercise.
For writing a book, that step is likely writing the first draft. No editing, no going back and changing a scene ( maybe make a note somewhere) and pitching to an agent or publisher. Just write.
Does that pretty much help explain how the process should be? I see so many fail goals because they race ahead before they’re really ready. It’s not a speed competition 99% of the time.
Well, I hope that helped someone. If you need help with your goal setting or steps feel free to reach out.
Keep it going,
Kimmie
At the beginning… thanks 🙏
