What? Another Victory!

Hi all,

Today I have gotten everything I set out to do done besides the possible trike time.

After looking into the patent forms more I cannot get the next form notarized until getting a number back from the first form. They’re all printed and filled out at least.

I also got Halloween decorations put out.

I will probably get some cleaning done soon. I did organize the pantry better already today.

Wait? What do you mean where’s the victory? Alright. Alright. Check it out.


That’s right! I lost more today and that now puts me in the next layer down. I’m at 289.8lbs. That means it took exactly 50 days for me to lose down enough to reach a new tens digit. That also means I have only 3.8lbs to go to hit a 50lb loss. I am only about half done with that book haha, but hey let’s see if I can get it done in the next 2-3 weeks.

That 50lb loss is also when I plan to join the YMCA. Maybe, since he needs to exercise more, my guy might change his mind and join too. We shall see.

Well, I should finish this up now to get back to getting things done.

Back to Back Long Walks

Hi all,

Yesterday we walked to get pizza as I stated. Today the 2 mile walk for groceries was conquered.

10/9/21 walk

That puts me at 8.74 miles so far in October. That means I could end up over 20 miles maybe even 25 for this month if I keep this pace going.

The scale is still hanging in the 291s so no loss to report as of yet. Maybe tomorrow. I’m sure there’s a couple pounds of water weight in there. Really hopeful I’ll be in the 288s or 289s for the monthly compare next weekend.

I am still ahead for both the full Healthy Wage and the mini challenge I’m on. Need a loss soon though or the mini will fall behind.

Hopefully, I have time tomorrow to take out the trike for a ride. We shall see. I have several things I need accomplish today and tomorrow.

My legs definitely want a break, though.

I should go get on things now.

I’m Going to Have Pizza

Hi all,

My oh my it’s getting warm again. Summer is trying to cling to life. I ended up having to leave work early, but hey now I can catch up on the exercise I didn’t get yesterday. How you may ask.

Well, I plan to walk the Little Ceasars and pick up supper. It’s a mile one way so 2 in total. That will be a nice burn so the pizza will be fine calories wise.

That calzone has been calling awhile. Haven’t made my mind up yet on the brownies.

Tomorrow the gorcery shopping walk will happen as well as patent work. Monday morn I will walk to the bank to get something notarized but I need to get it all done so I can finally submit the pre patent to start the real testing.

I’m a Potato

Hi all,

I had some odd knee pain that woke me slightly in the night. Due to this I was groggy and, though it doesn’t hurt, I decided to not do the morning Total Gym. I will do it after work instead.

My skipping my morning workout makes me feel lazy and I call myself a couch potato-though I’m rarely on a couch these days. I don’t want to insult myself, though as that is not conductive to health, growth or prosperity. So, I simply redesign the thought.

Yes, I am a potato. Potatoes are one of the most versatile vegetables on earth. As hobbits are so fond of saying, boil them, mash them, stick ’em in a stew. It’s not like their use stops their either. Mashed and then dehydrated potatoes give baked goods longer life without becoming stale. People make desserts out them. People make bread. The plants can push through almost rock hard soil to make it more workable. Never forget fried potatoes. Never!

So, yes, if I am to refer to myself as a potato I will consider it a compliment. Potatoes are amazing-just like me.

The scale though is still being stubborn but I still have hope for Saturday’s weigh in. It would be amazing to be in the 280s before the monthly compare time.
