Late Again

Hi all,

I still haven’t popped fully out of the darkness induced seasonal funk.

I’m gather more energy each day though.

I did log another loss, putting me dead even with the mini challenge and still well ahead of the long one. I’m down to under a year now to lose 60+lbs. It’s getting done, though.

Monday Check In

Hi all,

Been a busy Monday. Got some work and a walk done. And here is a Monday check in. I know it’s been like a month or more but I will get back on track here.


Lol doing the weigh in this morning, one must concur I’m just not a morning person. Haha!

The Catch Up Monthly Check In

Hi all,

We’ve completed our grocery shopping walk. I was making sure to walk fast. Did 2 miles in 51 minutes. So up to steady 2.35mph that means. Steady trying to improve my average walk speed. That also includes hills and traffic waiting.

I weighed in again after the walk and am now at 282.8lbs. That’s down a little over 53lbs! Still pecking away at the long and short Healthy Wage challenges. I’m still about a pound ahead on the short challenge and 11ish pounds up on the 18 month one.


It’s been 6 months of the health journey. Even with losing some focus for a few weeks and still working on getting exercise back on track I’ve lost 53.2lbs (52.8 after starting Healthy Wage Challenge) in 6 months. That leaves me a few days under a year to lose 67.2lbs.

Let’s go with measurements next.

Well, there you see I haven’t changed much in the last 5 weeks. I’m also only averaging about 1lb a week loss since I was majorly slacking off. I’m back on focus now, though.

Last would be me. Doubtful there is much visual difference but I will post it tomorrow. I did take the pics today but don’t have time to get on the pc and put them with the last months one to show yet.

I will post it tomorrow for sure.

I Been a Bad Bad Bloggers

Hi all,

Sorry I haven’t posted like I should. I am apologizing not just to to you all but to me as well. I use this blog to show where I’m at, how I’m feeling and what I’m doing. I have so many pans on the stove of my life and November has just been rough. The time change, getting dark over an hour before I get off work has messed me up. I’m not used to working this late. I’m going to adjust and have still been walking on my weekends.

I have also been eating more than I should and that hasn’t helped my mood.

A few things have happened lately to improve my mood. We got an adorable green cheek conure to celebrate my newest promotion.

They are yet to be named and are very food motivated so shoukd train well.

Next I did log a little loss as of this morn. So, I am now down 52.2lbs! Whoop whoop!

I forgot to do my monthly check in Monday, so that will be late but done Saturday.

The Vacation Comes to an End

Hi all,

So, I got a decent amount done over my vacation. Not everything, of course, but a good amount.

I didn’t lose much,


That puts me at 285lbs even.

My guy and I have decided to get an African Grey as our next pet. I’ve wanted one since I was a teen and have researched them a ton. Locating one shall be a pain. I have a decent lead on where to start. A new pet was one of my self rewards haha! I don’t recall which one.

I plan to walk over to join the Y in the next week or two.

I purchased jeans to further test the thigh guards. As of 285lbs I’m in a size 22 jeans. They are comfortable, not too snug or baggy.

Anywho, I plan to do a video and make a separate post today.
